Our neighborhood wasn’t known for holiday spirit until last year. It started with my daughter hanging a single wreath on the gate. Then, neighbors added a snowman, someone else placed glowing lanterns, and soon the entire street joined in. By the end of the week, our block looked like a postcard. Among it all, our humble mix of christmas lights and outdoor decorations blended beautifully with everyone’s creativity. That small start reminded us how one act of cheer can spark a wave of joy. Even after the season ended, the friendships we formed stayed bright.
